The custom-made entryway uses both antique wrought iron and rich mahogany that is repeated throughout the store.
Hints of copper blend perfectly with the navy and cream color theme of the storefront.
The 900 square foot showplace, located in charming downtown Chappaqua,
reflects Scott Mikolay’s vision of a store that is an experience in itself.
Scott is previously known for being a well-respected Master Jeweler and designer.
"It was time for me to venture into the retail world" says Scott "This store is
my dreams fulfilled. I designed it to utilize the customer’s five natural senses to create
a visit that is truly an experience. The showroom gives us a chance to offer our loyal
customers the most original and imaginative designs, as well as pieces that reflect more
classic trends". Though not forgetting his roots, Scott created a full repair shop that is
located on premises that specializes in repair, re-design, and custom work. It is this very
combination of old and new that enables Scott Mikolay and his polished team to meet all their customer’s needs.
The interior is a luxurious design, incorporating a rich combination of textures, sight, taste, scent, and sound.
Each fabric was handpicked by the design team, the colors and designs reflecting those found in natural stones and
gems. The music is decided upon based on it’s flow, rhythm, and continuity. The compositions are all European imports
that invoke stimulation and liveliness. Scott Mikolay and his team are happy to offer each customer refreshments as they
pursue the store. The handcrafted details are especially apparent in the lighting features designed to ideally showcase
each jewelry collection. The custom designed chandelier is the highlight of the store, simulating the look of thousands
of diamonds. Tuscan colored Venetian plaster brings a fine texture to the walls while blending the look of classic and contemporary.
While the store’s details are impressive, each facet is meant to compliment the jewelry. Each collection
is a perfect combination of semi-precious and precious stones with 18k and beyond. The colors established
in the collections reflect those found in nature, creating the perfect accessory for any woman.
